Thanks to everyone for their responses yesterday. The Maple Festival drew a lot of people, not only from the Hillsdale, NJ, area, but also, surrounding communities.
The PJWC had a table, creating awareness of our environment, as well as to announce the the Hillsdale area's new "Green" team - pledges to plant a tree were made, along with samples of items made from items such as corn starch (i.e. this was the ingredient of one of the "sample" cups)...I know that I learned a lot! There were washable tatoos and stickers for the kids. Free trees were, also, given out for pledges (to plant a tree) - great timing, since many people in the area lost many trees during the last storm we had.
The pancakes were delicious. There were many smiling faces...which tells you that the Pascack Valley region is a wonderful place to live, as well as to raise a family.
If you would like to live in the Pascack Valley Region (i.e. Hillsdale, River Vale, Montvale, Park Ridge, etc.) or would like to contact me, pick up the phone and call (551-206-1163)...or stop by today, Sunday, April 25, 2010, and visit our new office, located at 137 Broadway, Hillsdale, New Jersey ((it is very convenient - right across from Starbuck's on Broadway (the one with the blue awning)...so, grab a coffee or lunch and stop on by)) - I will be there between the hours of 12 pm and 2 pm.....you will be glad you did.
