The wintry weather is still here. What better time than now to hit the slopes and enjoy the snow. We have a couple of local ski areas that help enthusiasts enjoy the winter weather activities, without travelling long distances.
One ski area is Campgaw Mountain. They have activities for the experience skier, as well as for the beginner of all ages. For instance, “Skiwee” lessons that are aimed towards children between the ages of 4 and 6 years. They, also, have private lessons.
Weather-resistant gloves and a hat are recommended, as well as sunglasses, goggles and sunscreen, since the sun is very strong. If you do not have some of these supplies, they are available for purchase at the customer service desk.
If it is your first visit to Campgaw, your first stop will be the rental shop, where you can rent your equipment, purchase a snow pass(lift ticket) and lessons, if applicable.
